How to edit video on Mac

1. Trim Video Segment

Choose a video in file list, click Edit and choose Trim to open Trim window.

Drag the sliders on progress bar, or input time values to set start time and end time. You can preview the video to ensure you get the exact part as you want. When you finish the splitting, click OK to return to the main window.

2. Crop area size

Choose a video in file list, click Edit and choose Effect to open effect window. Select Crop label in the left panel.

Check Enable Crop, adjust the area size by dragging the frame around video in preview window or input values in text boxes. Check Keep Aspect Ratio to change the height and width proportionally. Click Restore Defaults button, to restore the default settings.

3. Adjust Effect

Choose a video in file list, click Edit and choose Effect to open effect window. Select Effect label in the left panel.

Check Enable Effect, adjust brightness, contrast and saturation by dragging the sliders or input values. You can see the effect in real-time in the preview window. Choose an effect for the output video from the Other Effects drop down list.

4. Create video watermark

Choose a video in file list, click Edit and choose Effect to open effect window. Select Watermark label in the left panel.

Check Enable Watermark. Choose to add text watermark or image watermark. Adjust the Transparence, Vertical and Horizontal position by dragging the frame in preview window or inputting values. Select Font Style for text watermark.
